Technical Assistant to Head of Global R&D

About the role

We are seeking a motivated, organized and analytically minded Technical Assistant to support the Head of Global R&D within an international team of 65 professionals. The role offers a unique opportunity for recent graduates with a business background to gain broad exposure to R&D leadership and strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day operational and strategic support to the Head of Global R&D.
• Prepare presentations, reports, meeting materials and decision documents.
• Coordinate R&D projects, track progress and maintain an overview of the project portfolio.
• Facilitate cross‑departmental communication between R&D, project management, quality and supply chain.
• Assist in organizational development, process improvement and team‑structure optimisation.
• Organise global team meetings and workshops, and follow up on action items.
• Support resource planning, KPI tracking and reporting.
• Manage calendar, travel arrangements and administrative tasks for the R&D leader.
• Support talent management and onboarding activities within the R&D department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics or a related field (Master’s a plus).
• 0–3 years of relevant experience, including internships or project‑coordination roles.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Mandarin.
• Proactive, structured, reliable and detail‑oriented.
• Interest in technology development and the interface between business and technical teams.
• Curiosity, willingness to challenge the status‑quo and strong organisational skills.
