About the role
As a Senior Technical Support Engineer specializing in marine outfitting, you will deliver end‑to‑end AVEVA Marine and E3D software support for shipyard and offshore customers in China. You will join a customer‑centric after‑sales team, providing both remote and on‑site assistance to ensure stable project delivery and help customers extract digital design value.
Key responsibilities
- Provide full‑cycle after‑sales technical support for all Outfitting modules of AVEVA Marine and E3D, including remote and on‑site software commissioning.
- Troubleshoot faults and guide daily customer operations to maintain stable software performance.
- Collect customer pain points, propose optimisation suggestions to internal teams, and deliver standardised training.
- Reproduce and analyse complex technical issues, conduct root‑cause analysis and close tickets according to company procedures.
Required profile
- Strong professional knowledge of piping (PIPE) and hands‑on experience in shipyard piping production design.
- Good understanding of marine outfitting workflows and industry design specifications.
- Customer‑oriented mindset with proven problem‑solving abilities for complex marine projects.
- Competent English reading, writing and communication skills for technical documentation.
- Self‑motivated, stress‑resistant and able to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
