Production Operator

About the role

Sandvik is seeking a reliable Production Operator to join its manufacturing team in Jining, China. The role involves operating equipment on the shop floor, following production plans, and ensuring product quality while adhering to safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Comply with all Sandvik EHS policies and procedures.
• Follow management instructions, factory rules, and production plans.
• Execute processes under technical staff guidance and enforce quality standards.
• Observe and apply production documentation and equipment operating procedures.
• Conserve water and electricity, aiming to reduce production costs.
• Report and resolve any issues that arise during production promptly.
• Perform daily checks and maintenance on tools and equipment, keeping them in good condition.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and workshop, applying 5S principles.
• Participate in factory‑organized training and coordinate effectively between workstations.
• Complete additional tasks assigned by the manager.

Required profile

• At least one year of relevant production experience in a similar industry.
• Proficient in operating production equipment.
• Diligent, conscientious, and proactive with the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, hard‑working, honest, and reliable.
• Willingness to work night shifts as required.
