Director of Sales

About the role

We are seeking a Director of Sales to lead the sales function for Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen. The role focuses on generating group and individual business, aligning sales activities with the hotel’s revenue targets and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve budgeted revenue and room occupancy.
• Recruit, lead and manage the sales team, ensuring daily “Golden Selling Hours” are maximized.
• Prospect, negotiate and close group contracts and individual bookings while coordinating with transient demand.
• Monitor sales performance, analyse market data and adjust strategies to optimise RevPAR.
• Maintain strong relationships with guests, vendors and the global Four Seasons sales network.
• Represent the hotel at trade shows, promotional events and networking opportunities to expand market reach.
• Support all Four Seasons sales and marketing initiatives and ensure compliance with company standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading sales teams in the luxury hospitality sector.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and revenue budgets.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to analyse market trends.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with guests, partners and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work onsite in Shenzhen and travel as required for events.
