Commis Chef – Hotel Kitchen

About the role

Join the culinary team at Four Seasons Guangzhou and support the preparation of high‑quality dishes for our guests. As a Commis Chef you will work in a dynamic, upscale kitchen environment, ensuring that every plate meets our strict standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Wash, peel, cut, and seed vegetables and fruits.
• Clean, cut, and grind meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Weigh and measure designated ingredients accurately.
• Transport pans, kettles, and trays between workstations, stove, and refrigerator.
• Store foods in designated areas following hotel standards.
• Maintain clean work areas, equipment, and utensils; segregate and remove waste.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
• Assist in quality control of food items and set up buffet presentations.
• Follow recipes and hygiene standards to produce dishes from scratch to final product.
