Associate / Senior Consultant – Core Business Tax (Japanese or French)

About the role

Deloitte China is seeking motivated professionals to join its Business Tax practice as Associate or Senior Consultants. You will work on client compliance and reporting projects, applying technical tax knowledge to deliver high‑quality solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist leadership on client compliance and reporting engagements.
• Draft reports, identify key tax issues and risks, and propose planning and implementation strategies.
• Prepare recommendations for tax administration, appeals processes, and advisory solutions.
• Research tax authority procedures and draft responses to tax authorities.
• Analyze data, develop informed recommendations, and communicate how technology adds value to clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Japanese, tax, accounting, finance, law or related fields.
• 0‑5 years of experience in a tax function, preferably with a Big 4 CPA firm, law firm, tax authority or large corporation.
• Strong analytical abilities and a commitment to high‑quality client service.
• Excellent consultation, communication, teamwork, and ability to work under pressure.
• Mature, proactive, motivated and willing to develop leadership capabilities.

Required skills
