Workplace Manager

About the role

Sonos is seeking a Workplace Manager for its Shanghai office to create a productive and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and vendors. The role is office‑based, requiring regular on‑site collaboration and hands‑on management of daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, manage front‑desk duties, mail handling, voicemail, and employee service requests.
• Oversee vendor selection, contracts, and transitions, ensuring smooth service delivery.
• Coordinate meetings, conference room bookings, catering, and space layout requests.
• Handle space planning, utilization reporting, and office inventory management.
• Process invoices, purchase requisitions, and maintain accurate budget tracking.
• Manage safety and security programs, act as safety captain during emergencies, and oversee building evacuations.
• Support shipping & receiving, travel assistance, and other ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication in Chinese and English.
• Strong attention to detail and customer‑service orientation.
• Proactive, hands‑on attitude with the ability to work independently.
• Minimum 3 years experience in workplace or facilities management.

Required skills

• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Zoom, Slack, Canva, GSuite.
• Experience using Windows, macOS, and iOS platforms.
• Knowledge of facility management, security technology, and workplace management systems.
