Working Party Manager – Aircraft Repair

About the role

The Working Party Manager leads the Working Party team responsible for major aircraft repair projects in the China region. This role ensures airworthiness, manages on‑site operations, and coordinates with customers, manufacturers and subcontractors to deliver end‑to‑end repair solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Working Party team in China, overseeing operational management, safety, manpower, workload and expenses.
• Lead major repair projects from damage assessment through to final Certificate of Release.
• Establish Working Party files and issue certificates of release in accordance with EASA/CAAC Part 145 rules and Airbus procedures.
• Negotiate staff availability with manufacturing units and third‑party vendors.
• Plan work scope, resources, documentation and logistics with the preparation group.
• Conduct safety risk assessments before, during and after maintenance activities.
• Coordinate on‑site teams including engineers, spares representatives, subcontractors and inspectors.
• Monitor multi‑skill teams, ensure compliance with ethics and regulations, and report progress.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing aircraft repair or maintenance teams.
• Strong knowledge of EASA and CAAC Part 145 regulations.
• Ability to issue Certificates of Release and ensure airworthiness.
• Experience coordinating with customers, manufacturers and subcontractors.
