Warehouse Operator - Forklift

About the role

Envalior, a materials company combining DSM Engineering Materials and LANXESS High Performance Materials, is looking for a Warehouse Operator in its Shaoxing manufacturing site. The operator ensures that raw and auxiliary materials match production plans and supports continuous, safe and on-time delivery of products.

Key responsibilities

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and keep accurate production records
• Receive, store and issue raw and auxiliary materials, including barcoding
• Manage inventory of raw and auxiliary materials and finished goods outbound and shipping, including forklift operation, information checks and coordination with drivers (e.g. taking photos as proof of delivery)
• Prepare and move materials according to the picking plan made by the warehouse clerk
• Handle receiving, issuing and inventory at external warehouses and transport between them and the site
• Assist with month-end inventory counts
• Handle inbound and outbound operations for the solid waste warehouse, keep waste ledgers and sort waste materials
• Maintain 5S standards in the work area
• Prepare DHL shipping labels and dispatch physical samples
• Serve as On-site Loading/Unloading Logistics Safety Coordinator after passing the assessment by the SHEQ Engineer and Production Supervisor
• Maintain and update warehouse procedures and SOPs

Required profile

• Valid Special Equipment Operator Certificate (N1); forklift experience in the chemical industry preferred
• At least 1 year of practical forklift experience, able to work safely in narrow spaces and complex environments
• Familiarity with hazardous chemical storage and site traffic safety rules, with no major violations
• Good physical health, good eyesight, able to work in shifts and high-temperature environments
• Strong teamwork, willingness to follow on-site dispatch arrangements and strict adherence to company rules
