About the role

ShanghaiTech University is building the core founding team of its School of Information Science and Technology (SIST). The university seeks highly qualified candidates for multiple tenure‑track or tenured faculty positions across a broad spectrum of information science and technology research areas.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct cutting‑edge research in designated information science and technology domains.
• Join the new tenure‑track system and participate in regular progress evaluation and promotion processes.

Required profile

• Strong research productivity and demonstrated research potential.
• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
• At least four years of relevant research experience, including Ph.D. work.
• Fluency in English; overseas academic training is highly desired.
