Tenure-Track Assistant/Associate Professor of Management

About the role

Wenzhou-Kean University (WKU), a Sino-American university in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, China, is recruiting a full-time, tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Management for its AACSB-accredited College of Business and Public Management, starting in Fall 2027. The university seeks research-oriented faculty committed to teaching, scholarship and academic service, and encourages applicants specializing in Business Analytics or Data Science.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate management courses, with a standard load of 24 credits per year (one or two course preparations per semester).
• Develop and update course materials, deliver lectures and design assessments aligned with learning objectives.
• Conduct scholarly research and publish in high-quality peer-reviewed journals.
• Advise and mentor students, and collaborate with faculty colleagues.
• Participate in university service and academic community activities.

Required profile

• Earned doctorate in Management, or anticipated completion before the contract start date; terminal degree obtained within one year allows a lecturer-level appointment.
• Doctoral preparation from a Carnegie R1/AACSB/EQUIS-accredited program.
• Strong research record or clear potential to publish in top-tier journals.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and ability to teach business courses in English.
• Ability to mentor students, work collaboratively and contribute to the academic community.
