TechOps Operation Engineer (English Speaking)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive TechOps Operation Engineer to support the China‑hosted instance of our global cloud‑based accounting system. The role focuses on ensuring stability, performance and continuous delivery of the platform and its integrated Chinese AI capabilities, while working in an English‑speaking, globally distributed team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain dedicated cloud infrastructure for the China instance, guaranteeing high availability and performance.
• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for rapid, reliable software and AI feature releases.
• Set up monitoring, alerting and logging solutions to observe system health and detect performance anomalies.
• Collaborate with the AI Engineering team to operate Chinese large language models (e.g., Baidu ERNIE, Alibaba Tongyi Qianwen), including GPU resource management.
• Ensure all operational processes, data handling and infrastructure configurations comply with China’s data security regulations.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and communicate effectively in English with global development teams.
• Troubleshoot complex application and infrastructure issues to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related STEM field from a reputable university.
• Strong academic record and technical aptitude; 0‑3 years of relevant experience acceptable.
• Passion for operational excellence and ability to work in a fast‑paced, compliance‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Programming in Python.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with monitoring, alerting and logging technologies.
• Understanding of GPU allocation for AI workloads.
• Exposure to Chinese large language models (Baidu ERNIE, Alibaba Tongyi Qianwen) is a plus.
