Tech Consultant, China

About the role

iQVIA is looking for a Tech Consultant in China (Shanghai) who provides high-quality, timely development and on-time input to solutions for service delivery, managed services or implementation-oriented client projects. Assignments range from basic analysis and problem solving to helping build more complex solutions and leading small teams, while contributing to client satisfaction objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with reviewing and analysing client requirements and problems, and with proposal development.
• Develop detailed documentation and specifications.
• Perform basic quantitative or qualitative analyses to identify issues and develop solutions.
• Help analysts and consultants design and structure presentations.
• Build a basic knowledge of services and consulting methodologies and of the pharmaceutical, healthcare and life sciences industry.
• Develop an awareness of iQVIA technology solutions and how they fit client scenarios.
• Engagement-based responsibilities are assigned and managed by consultants, engagement managers or principals.
• As a business analyst, validate client deliverables and direct the work of an offshore project team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• 3-5 years of related experience.
• Willingness and effectiveness in working with colleagues inside and across the organisation.
• Knowledge of business processes, their interactions and the impact of internal and external factors on decisions, growth and decline.
• Knowledge of consulting methods, tools and techniques in your functional area.
• Knowledge of current industry events, major competitors, the marketplace and professional associations.
• Effective time management skills.
