Manufacturing ITOT System Manager

About the role

Roche is hiring a Manufacturing ITOT System Manager in Shanghai. The role covers business management, process management and user management of manufacturing IT systems, working closely with production business departments while complying with GxP regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements with production departments so IT systems support business efficiency and GxP compliance
• Evaluate existing production IT systems, propose improvements and help select technical solutions
• Analyze business processes, identify improvements and implement optimization plans
• Use data analysis tools to produce insight reports for decision making
• Manage user permissions so only authorized personnel access data and functions
• Develop and maintain business continuity plans for emergencies
• Take part in periodic audit trail reviews to ensure data traceability
• Support training of production and business teams and help resolve IT system issues
• Lead or take part in production IT system projects

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Engineering or a related field
• At least 5 years of business analysis or related experience in production IT systems; pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
• Good command of English in all four skills
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, teamwork and strategic agility

Required skills

• Business requirement analysis and process optimization
• Project management experience preferred
• Knowledge of production management software such as MES, DHS and SAP
• Understanding of GxP regulations
