Tax Manager

About the role

The Tax Manager will lead tax compliance, reporting and planning for the company's China business units. This role combines external filing, internal forecasting, transfer pricing documentation and liaison with tax authorities to ensure accurate and efficient tax operations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute external tax compliance and reporting for China CBUs, including recurring filings, operational tasks and preferential treatment applications.
• Prepare internal tax reports, forecasts, analyses and tax provisions.
• Provide day‑to‑day tax advisory, lead tax planning projects and manage tax risk for the assigned business units.
• Support post‑acquisition tax integration in M&A projects and coordinate cross‑functional initiatives.
• Manage routine transfer pricing documentation, conduct TP reviews and lead ad‑hoc benchmark studies.
• Maintain relationships with tax authorities and handle inquiries or investigations.
• Develop and update tax position papers, SOPs and internal control procedures; support learning sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, tax, law or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of dedicated tax experience, preferably with Big 4 background.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with SAP.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA or CTA.
• Fluent English communication (writing and speaking).
