Talent & Learning Partner – North Asia

About the role

ABB is looking for a Talent & Learning Partner to support the Motion business across North Asia (China, Korea, Japan). You will work closely with HR Business Partners and business leaders to translate global talent and learning strategies into actionable programs that build the capabilities needed for today and tomorrow.

Key responsibilities

• Understand the Motion business strategy, market dynamics and customer needs to align talent initiatives.
• Champion diversity and inclusion by attracting and retaining diverse talent.
• Lead core talent and learning topics such as career development, leadership development, change management, and people reviews.
• Deliver global and local projects, both virtually and in‑person, and continuously improve processes and policies.
• Partner with HR Business Partners to implement HR solutions, tools and resources.
• Define operating models for talent and learning programs, including make‑vs‑buy decisions and provider management.
• Maintain accurate talent and learning data in relevant systems and collaborate with HR Services, IS and external providers.
• Build strategic partnerships with universities, consultancies and coaches to support business strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• 5–10 years of experience in HR, preferably as an HR Business Partner or in talent management, learning or organization development.
• Proven ability to work with senior leaders and influence cross‑functional teams.
