Structure Mechanic – ST41 Assembly

About the role

The Structure Mechanic (ST41) is responsible for preparing and assembling metallic and composite components for aircraft structures at Airbus’s Tianjin final assembly facility. The role ensures that all parts are correctly identified, processed and documented in line with engineering drawings and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare metallic, composite and hybrid stack components for assembly.
• Verify component specifications against drawings and work orders.
• Load required serial components into the tracking system.
• Perform drilling, fastening and apply surface protections such as sealants and alodine.
• Document operations performed and ensure traceability of sealants and paints.
• Guarantee compliance with drawing requirements, quality standards and applicable regulations.
• Maintain the Environmental Management System and keep the work area safe and orderly.

Required profile

• Professional experience in aircraft structure assembly or similar manufacturing environment.
• Awareness of compliance risks and commitment to act with integrity.
• Ability to work accurately following technical documentation.
