Statistical Programming Analyst - Campus Hiring 2023 (GZ/DL/SH)

About the role

IQVIA is recruiting for its Statistical Programming (SP) team through its 2023 campus hiring program. The role provides programming support to develop and maintain programs that meet the needs of internal and external clients, and supports project-related solutions to a variety of statistical programming tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Program, test and document statistical programs used to create statistical tables and listing summaries.
• Program analysis databases (derived datasets) and transfer data for internal and external clients.
• Run program database quality control checks.
• Assist in developing programming documentation, including plans and specifications, as appropriate.
• Help develop, implement and validate new process technologies, macros and applications.
• Assist the project lead in fulfilling project responsibilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Basic knowledge of statistics and/or the clinical drug development process.
• Organizational and communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Aptitude for mathematical calculations, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of statistical computing applications such as Base SAS, SAS/STAT and SAS Macro Language.
