Clinical Data Programming Associate

About the role

IQVIA is hiring a Clinical Data Programming Associate in Dalian. The role provides technical assistance within a team to develop and maintain clinical systems that meet internal and external clients' needs, including helping build databases for local, regional or transnational use.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with programming, testing and documenting databases in line with programming standards and validation procedures.
• Help plan and coordinate database design, development, implementation, maintenance and user support of clinical systems.
• Assist with programming database manipulations and data transfers for internal and external clients.
• May help IT test new upgrades to technologies.
• Follow core operating procedures and working instructions, and meet assigned objectives while working with the project team on timelines, responsibilities and deliverables.
• Maintain good communication and working relationships with the Clinical Data management team.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent, with 3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Good conceptual, organizational and communication skills.
• A flexible approach with a conscientious attitude.
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of a relational database (required).
