Simulation Engineer – Mechanical/Electrical

About the role

As a Simulation Engineer at Bosch Group in Suzhou, you will contribute to the technical development of Assembly and Interconnect Technology (AIT). You will apply finite‑element (FE) methods to evaluate new and improved electrical and mechanical components, supporting both local and global product development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform FE simulation and reliability analysis for electrical/mechanical components and interconnects.
• Provide simulation support for product development projects and the Suzhou plant.
• Develop and refine simulation methods to enhance capability and efficiency.
• Assist data‑analytics, data‑mining and machine‑learning activities related to simulation data.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computational Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or a comparable field.
• Demonstrated experience with FE simulation tools, preferably ANSYS.
• Basic understanding of data analytics, data mining and machine learning concepts.
• Strong enthusiasm for innovative technical challenges and academic rigor.
• Structured working style with a quality‑focused mindset.
