Shopfloor Manager – Production & Warehouse Operations

About the role

VAHLE Group is seeking an experienced Shopfloor Manager to lead production and warehouse operations in Shanghai. You will ensure quality, cost efficiency, deadlines and performance while aligning local requirements with global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage production and warehouse processes, define and monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement.
• Implement localization of products, develop preventive maintenance, and oversee investments and budgets.
• Ensure and develop quality standards, including ISO 9001 compliance, and support supply‑chain certifications.
• Lead and develop the local team, fostering a lean‑management culture.

Required profile

• Several years of operations experience (production, warehouse or similar) with at least 5 years in international, cross‑functional environments.
• Strong technical understanding of mechanical, electrical or electromechanical systems.
• Business management knowledge such as cost control, planning and KPI management.
• Business‑fluent English and native‑level Chinese.

Required skills

• SAP (ERP) experience.
• MS Office proficiency.
• Lean management and project management experience.
