SharePoint Online / M365 Developer (UN Consultant)

About the role

The United Nations Office of Information and Communications Technology (OICT) is seeking a consultant to design, develop, and support SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 solutions. This six‑month contract will be based onsite in Deqing, China, and contributes to the UN's digital transformation agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, debug, and implement new applications using SharePoint Online and the Power Platform.
• Create technical and user documentation, training materials, and deliver presentations.
• Provide 3rd‑level support, version management, and troubleshooting for deployed applications.
• Conduct user reviews, respond to requests, and propose new tools and libraries.
• Stay updated on industry developments and perform benchmarking.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree (master’s or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or a first‑level degree with two additional years of experience.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience building web applications with SharePoint Online.
• 3 years of experience developing SPFX solutions using JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• 3 years of experience building apps with Power Platform and Microsoft 365.
• 2 years of experience with PowerShell scripting.
