Service Team Leader

About the role

The Service Team Leader will head a dedicated service team that supports key‑account customers across multiple plants. You will be responsible for driving customer satisfaction, growing service revenue and developing the professional capabilities of your team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the team to achieve and exceed service revenue targets, aligning with overall financial goals.
• Act as the primary contact for key accounts, ensuring high‑quality service delivery, process management, documentation and contract oversight.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise service processes and operational efficiency.
• Recruit, coach and manage the on‑site service team, overseeing performance and competence development.
• Coordinate with business lines, sales channels and end users to expand the value of the service business.
• Support product and service sales initiatives within key accounts.
• Provide expert on‑site technical support, troubleshoot complex issues and deliver solutions.
• Collect and communicate product and service quality feedback to internal specialists.
• Own workplace health and safety, conducting risk assessments, safety training and inspections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of aftermarket service experience in premium industrial products, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and team‑motivation abilities.
• Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes and industry trends, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Customer‑focused mindset with analytical thinking to identify root causes and optimise processes.
• Excellent communication skills in English and proficiency with MS Office.
