Senior/Advanced Algorithm Engineer

About the role

The Senior/Advanced Algorithm Engineer will lead the design and development of cutting‑edge AI‑based image processing and medical image visualization algorithms. Working with 2D/3D CT data, the role focuses on high‑performance implementations for segmentation, recognition and real‑time rendering, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to meet clinical and product requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced algorithms for medical image processing, including segmentation, detection, registration, and enhancement.
• Develop and optimize 2D/3D visualization techniques such as volume rendering, surface rendering, and multi‑planar reconstruction.
• Build and validate AI/ML models for medical imaging applications, ensuring accuracy and robustness.
• Optimize algorithm performance for real‑time processing using GPU acceleration, CUDA, and parallel computing.
• Integrate algorithms into production systems, ensuring scalability and reliability.

Required profile

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Graphics, Applied Mathematics or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in algorithm development for image processing, computer vision or medical imaging.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and/or Python.
• Hands‑on experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
