Senior US Study Abroad Advisor

About the role

As a Senior US Study Abroad Advisor at QS, you will guide students through every stage of their study‑abroad journey, from goal‑setting and test planning to academic pathway design and application strategy. You will work closely with consultants, application teams and other colleagues to deliver a seamless, high‑quality service to students and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive counselling on U.S. study‑abroad policies, programmes and admission requirements.
• Answer inbound calls and online inquiries, schedule visits and deliver personalised consulting sessions.
• Prepare and sign study‑abroad contracts, create student files and track application progress.
• Design tailored study‑abroad plans, monitor implementation and adjust strategies as needed.
• Advise students on school and major selection, career planning and related services such as visa assistance and language training.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of U.S. study‑abroad regulations and counselling practices.
• Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to work fluidly across multiple internal teams.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents and partners.
• Detail‑oriented approach to managing contracts, files and progress reports.
