About the role

Shangri-La is seeking a Senior System Specialist to lead the design, implementation, and support of its global IT infrastructure. You will work within a multinational environment, ensuring high‑availability services across hotels and resorts worldwide.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer Windows Server environments (2012 and later) and Active Directory services, including DHCP and Group Policy.
  • Manage Linux servers (CentOS, Red Hat) and support virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, Hyper‑V, and Sangfor.
  • Oversee multi‑cloud resources across Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud, Tencent Cloud and Alibaba Cloud.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and command‑line tools.
  • Implement and support virtual desktop infrastructure solutions (Citrix, Microsoft Remote Desktop Services).
  • Administer SAN/NAS storage platforms (3PAR, Nimble, Synology, QNAP) and monitoring tools (PRTG, Prometheus).
  • Maintain IT documentation, SOPs and user guides.

Required profile

  • Minimum 5 years of hands‑on IT operations experience in a multinational setting.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical and process‑improvement skills.
  • Ability to assess current operations and drive enhancements.

Required skills

  • Windows Server 2012+, Active Directory, DHCP, Group Policy.
  • CentOS, Red Hat Linux administration.
  • Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud, Tencent Cloud, Alibaba Cloud.
  • PowerShell and command‑line scripting.
  • Citrix, Microsoft Remote Desktop Services.
  • VMware vSphere, Site Recovery Manager, P2V migration, vSAN, Hyper‑V, Sangfor.
  • 3PAR, Nimble, Synology, QNAP storage solutions.
  • ManageEngine EventLog Analyzer, ADAudit Plus, Endpoint Central, ServiceDesk Plus.
  • PRTG, Prometheus monitoring.
  • AI prompts and AI agents.
  • Relevant certifications (MCSE, MCITP, CCNA, ITIL) are a plus.
