About the role
We are looking for a Senior Structural Simulation Engineer to lead simulation activities for automotive electronic products, ensuring product reliability through advanced analysis techniques.
Key responsibilities
- Perform structural simulation, including vibration fatigue, thermo‑mechanical, and static analyses for automotive electronics.
- Analyze load paths and cause‑effect relationships to assess reliability risks.
- Collaborate with global experts to develop simulation competence and execute simulation tasks.
- Develop new simulation capabilities, standardize and automate methods.
- Provide internal training, share case studies, and mentor junior engineers.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Solid Mechanics, Vehicle, Aerospace, Materials Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of structural simulation experience, preferably in automotive electronics.
- Proficiency with at least one simulation tool such as Ansys or Abaqus.
- Familiarity with vibration, modal testing and material constitutive models.
- Strong knowledge of fatigue analysis, mechanics of materials and finite‑element fundamentals.
- Programming skills in Matlab or Python.
- Excellent English communication and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
