Senior Quality Manager

About the role

Dematic, a KION business, is looking for a Senior Quality Manager to lead the Quality organization in China. The role oversees quality support across multiple teams, drives regional projects, and ensures manufacturing and supplier products meet first‑class standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define workflows, reporting relationships and processes, collaborating cross‑functionally to meet global quality and regional execution KPIs.
• Develop and manage the regional budget, resource plan and business plans in line with the Global Department Leader.
• Monitor, report and present key results and challenges to quality executives, identifying trends for strategic planning.
• Troubleshoot complex quality problems across departments and present solutions to internal stakeholders and customers.

Required profile

• 15+ years of relevant quality experience, with at least 7 years in leadership roles within fast‑paced, high‑growth environments.
• Proven ability to lead multiple exempt‑level employees, develop budgets, and implement business/quality processes.
• Experience managing quality for large‑scale, complex projects and developing ISO‑compliant global quality systems.

Required skills

• ASQ and/or PMP certification (preferred).
• Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Design of Experiments.
• Experience with Toyota Production System and corrective action systems.
