Senior Manager – Operations Management & Business Development

About the role

dss+ is seeking a Senior Manager to lead large‑scale transformation programmes in China. The role blends delivery excellence with business development, helping clients improve safety, operational performance and sustainability while expanding dss+’s market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead consulting teams and manage delivery across multiple operational‑excellence engagements.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with senior client stakeholders throughout China.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, contributing to pipeline growth and revenue generation.
• Support proposal development, client pitches and strategic account planning.
• Oversee project execution to ensure high‑quality delivery and measurable client impact.
• Coach and develop consulting teams, enhancing capability and performance.
• Contribute to thought leadership and positioning in operational excellence across the region.

Required profile

• Proven experience in management consulting with a focus on operations management and performance improvement.
• Strong analytical thinking, commercial mindset and ability to lead teams in complex environments.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with senior stakeholders.
