Senior Finance Manager – Consolidated Reporting & Financial Controlling

About the role

Mars Renewable is scaling rapidly and needs a senior finance professional to lead both consolidated reporting and the financial control framework across domestic and overseas entities. You will act as the primary external finance interface, managing relationships with banks, tax authorities, auditors, and regulators.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting, review significant journal entries and ensure policy standardisation (PRC GAAP/IFRS).
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual standalone financial statements and lead full group consolidation, including intercompany eliminations, unrealised profit, minority interest and FX translation.
• Design and implement a financial control framework covering expense control, cash management and operational risk.
• Own customer credit review, build credit rating frameworks and manage credit limits and bad‑debt prevention for domestic and overseas customers.
• Serve as the company’s external finance face, handling bank accounts, cross‑border payments, FX facilities, tax compliance, audit responses and regulator interactions.
• Coordinate finance activities for overseas subsidiaries and ensure alignment with global reporting standards.

Required profile

• Background in a Big Four audit firm with full monthly close and annual audit cycle experience.
• Deep knowledge of manufacturing accounting and PRC GAAP/IFRS.
• Proven experience managing end‑to‑end engagements with banks, tax authorities, auditors and regulators, preferably with overseas finance exposure.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently in a fast‑growing, cross‑border environment.
