Senior Field Application Engineer - MPU

About the role

NXP is looking for a Senior Field Application Engineer for its MPU products, based in Shanghai (JingAn). The role works with worldwide design, application and marketing teams to promote the product and supports customers through their projects.

Key responsibilities

• Work with worldwide design, application and marketing teams to promote the NXP MPU product.
• Use technical expertise to identify customer needs and new opportunities for the product.
• Support customers on design, debugging and troubleshooting from design through to mass production.
• Follow up customer technical and quality issues and respond quickly.
• Help manage the customer's project schedule and demand information.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of embedded hardware or software experience in networking equipment.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Willingness to learn, take on challenges and a self-motivated attitude.

Required skills

• Linux driver or real-time OS driver/BSP development experience.
• Familiarity with ARMv7 and ARMv8 architectures.
• Good knowledge of digital networking communication theory.
• Strong GenAI and Edge AI experience is a plus, such as multi-agent use, model compilation, tuning and quantization.
