Senior Director, BioAnalytical

About the role

iQVIA is looking for a Senior Director, BioAnalytical in Beijing to directly administer and coordinate laboratory operations in an assigned region. The role is responsible for operational profit and loss and the quality of services delivered, working with the Senior Vice President, Global Central Labs, other regional general managers and global functional managers to set short- and long-term plans, objectives and policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage laboratory operations in the assigned region to ensure profitability and high-quality client service, while improving customer satisfaction
• Develop policies, practices and standards to manage business risk, and develop, monitor and implement regional budgets and pricing programs
• Integrate Global Laboratory goals into the region and develop its strategic and tactical initiatives
• Manage staff, including training, coaching, performance appraisal, rewards and discipline, and approve HR matters
• Support business development by benchmarking IQVIA Laboratory's capabilities against market expectations, and manage facility needs and expansion planning
• May act as site head

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a science-related field
• 10-15 years of relevant industry experience
• Knowledge of clinical laboratory service delivery operations and of regulatory and regional policies in the clinical laboratory environment
