About the role
We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join our industrial connectivity team. You will be responsible for developing connector products from concept through validation, ensuring technical feasibility and high quality.
Key responsibilities
- Work professionally with 2D and 3D CAD tools.
- Evaluate specifications and technical feasibility of projects.
- Develop products according to specifications from Product Management.
- Create and test functional samples.
- Define materials based on product requirements.
- Coordinate concepts with Industrial Engineering, Quality, and Production.
- Plan product validation activities.
- Apply FMEA methods for failure prevention.
- Perform tolerance and other proof‑of‑concept calculations.
- Supervise drawing creation by draftsmen.
- Validate designs against specifications.
- Evaluate initial sample inspection reports.
- Participate in product and process approvals.
Required profile
- University degree in technology or mechanical engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a connector development engineer.
