Senior Content Manager

About the role

Walmart Marketplace is seeking a Senior Content Manager to lead the creation and execution of public‑relations and communication assets that support its fast‑growing global eCommerce platform. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams to shape messaging, manage media relations, and mitigate communication risks.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain PR tools such as one‑pagers, FAQs, fact sheets, and presentation decks for external engagements.
• Develop standard PR templates for major business announcements.
• Design and execute tailored communication plans, draft speeches for senior leaders, and manage press releases.
• Produce a weekly PR report that captures key industry information for business development and decision‑making.
• Lead external vendors for media monitoring, deliver early risk warnings, and prepare PR risk‑management plans.
• Provide ad‑hoc communication support to internal teams as needed.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in public relations, marketing, communications, journalism, or media, preferably within cross‑border e‑commerce.
• Strategic thinker who is comfortable executing ideas hands‑on.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing communication strategies.
• Strong English reading and listening skills; spoken English is a plus.
