Senior Business Development Manager - Unreal Engine

About the role

Epic Games is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager in Shanghai to engage with game developers in China and help them adopt Unreal Engine solutions. The person will be a key voice of Epic Games in the game developer industry in China, handling both highly complex, long-cycle deals and a high volume of simpler ones.

Key responsibilities

• Find new opportunities for the adoption of Unreal Game Solutions.
• Negotiate deals with developers, publishers and platforms for their use of Unreal Dev Solutions.
• Own relationships with important partners and maximise their use of and benefit from Epic's tools.
• Represent the needs of game developers back to internal stakeholders and improve the solutions offered.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of progressive experience in the games industry, with a track record across AAA, AA, indie and/or mobile developers.
• Sales or business development experience with the game developer community in Greater China.
• Intimate knowledge of the games community in Greater China and strong connections there.
• Experience negotiating with international organisations.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English.
