About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Secondary Chemistry Teacher to join our school in Shanghai. The role involves delivering inquiry‑based chemistry lessons to secondary students, following UK or IB curricula where possible, and contributing to a multicultural learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging chemistry lessons using an inquiry‑based approach.
• Adapt teaching materials to align with UK or IB curriculum standards.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support a diverse, multicultural classroom.
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development sessions.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with a teaching certification.
• Minimum two years post‑qualifying experience (three years preferred).
• Adaptable, flexible and positive attitude towards life and work.
• Ability to work effectively within a variety of cultures.
