Search Marketing Specialist

About the role

The Search Marketing Specialist will design, execute and optimise paid search campaigns across major Chinese and international platforms such as Baidu, Bing and 360. Working closely with product, design and data teams, you will drive brand awareness, traffic and lead generation through full‑funnel strategies and continuous experimentation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, launch and optimise paid marketing campaigns on Baidu, Bing, 360 and third‑party networks.
• Develop full‑funnel strategies to increase brand visibility, drive qualified traffic and generate leads.
• Conduct A/B tests and other experiments to improve campaign performance.
• Analyse data using PowerBI and Excel to produce actionable insights and performance dashboards.
• Manage campaign budgets, ensuring delivery on schedule and within financial targets.
• Lead SEO initiatives (on‑page, off‑page, technical) and GEO optimisation for emerging AI platforms.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including product, design, business intelligence and content.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, best practices and competitive landscape.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, business or a related field.
• 4–6 years of hands‑on experience in paid search marketing within the consumer sector.
• Proven track record of managing campaigns on Baidu, Bing and 360.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience building reports and dashboards.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Creative mindset with a passion for marketing innovation and experimentation.
