Sales Representative – Shenzhen

About the role

Etihad Airways is seeking an ambitious Sales Representative to expand its presence in the Shenzhen market. You will own a portfolio of customers, build strong relationships across travel trade and corporate segments, and drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales plans to meet revenue and commercial targets.
• Manage and grow existing customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities.
• Build partnerships with travel agencies, corporate clients and other commercial partners.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer potential to pinpoint revenue opportunities.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline and progress opportunities from engagement to conversion.
• Utilise data, commercial insights and sales tools to prioritise activities and improve performance.
• Negotiate mutually beneficial commercial outcomes with customers and partners.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop customer solutions and support commercial initiatives.
• Promote Etihad products and services relevant to the Shenzhen market.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in sales, account management or business development.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
• Experience in airline sales is preferred; travel industry or high‑performing B2B sales backgrounds are also considered.
• Strong account management and business development capabilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Commercial and analytical mindset with confidence using data and market insights.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactive, energetic, resilient and motivated in a target‑driven environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
