Regional Customer Supply Chain Manager - APAC

About the role

Mars is looking for a Regional Customer Supply Chain Manager (outbound) in Shanghai, China, to lead the APAC Customer Supply Chain strategy. The role covers the full order-to-cash journey, from defining customer segments and service level agreements to deploying transformation projects and leading the regional community of practice.

Key responsibilities

• Define the APAC Customer Supply Chain strategy, segment customers (D2C, B2B retail, B2B vet, B2B pro, large distributors) and set cost-based service level agreements
• Govern the Customer Service Target Operating Model and deploy the global standards for org design, processes and tools, including OMS tools and order capture and fulfillment methods
• Embed cost-to-serve tracking in reporting and co-design the customer service ecosystem (people, process, system) to improve customer satisfaction
• Lead the regional transformation roadmap, including D2C and B2C capabilities, and projects such as Cost to Serve, Voice of Customer, OMS and CRM
• Influence the system architecture roadmap, including the EOS program, and incorporate automation, ATP, track and trace and self-service features
• Ensure regional governance of customer service performance, monitor performance, diagnose issues and lead the APAC Customer Service community of practice

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in supply chain, or equivalent experience in both manufacturing and distribution within multi-national FMCG companies
• Proven project management and continuous improvement experience
• Good logical thinking, attention to detail, growth mindset and excellent English verbal and written communication
• International supply chain experience is advantageous

Required skills

• Supply chain customer service systems and processes
• Microsoft Excel for data analysis
• SAP, 1NV or OMS is preferable; Office productivity software such as Outlook and PowerPoint
