Recruiter – Talent Acquisition

About the role

The Recruiter will support the continuous improvement of staffing functions within an assigned business unit, primarily focusing on one geography. Working under guidance, the role involves sourcing, selecting, and hiring qualified candidates while ensuring compliance with company policies and local hiring regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with management to understand hiring needs and develop cost‑effective recruitment strategies.
• Create and post job advertisements across multiple media channels.
• Screen applications, conduct interviews, and assess candidates’ experience, education, and salary expectations.
• Coordinate job fairs, maintain relationships with colleges, universities, and alumni groups to build talent pipelines.
• Collaborate with external recruiters and employment agencies to expand candidate reach.
• Utilize online recruiting platforms and internet sources to identify potential hires.
• Provide timely staffing updates and employee‑related information to management.
• Support diversity initiatives and ensure adherence to regional hiring guidelines.
• Assist line managers with training on recruiting, interviewing, and selection processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in a staffing or recruiting function.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment legislation and best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and problem‑solving abilities.
• High level of discretion, confidentiality, and ability to multitask.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms.
