Recruiter

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Recruiter to support the staffing function within a specific business unit. The role involves sourcing, selecting and hiring qualified candidates while ensuring compliance with company policies and local hiring guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with managers to understand staffing needs and develop cost‑effective recruitment strategies.
• Create and post job advertisements across multiple channels and manage applicant tracking.
• Screen resumes, conduct interviews and assess candidates’ qualifications, experience and salary expectations.
• Attend job fairs, build relationships with universities, colleges and alumni groups to generate talent pipelines.
• Collaborate with external recruiters, employment agencies and online recruiting platforms.
• Provide guidance and training to line managers on interviewing and selection processes.
• Monitor market trends, coordinate with compensation teams on salary offers and ensure diversity and compliance standards are met.
• Prepare and deliver timely staffing reports and employee‑related information to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a recruiting or staffing function.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment legislation and best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, attention to detail and high level of discretion.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and work independently or as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using HRIS or similar applicant tracking systems.
