Quality Management Methods Engineer

About the role

HITACHI ENERGY, a global specialist in electrical power transmission and distribution, is looking for a Quality Management Methods Engineer in Xiamen, China. The role covers quality strategy, system maintenance under ISO 9000, audits, project quality assurance and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the quality strategy, implement it and maintain the quality system in line with ISO 9000.
• Work with the quality manager to set and analyse company KPIs and take action to improve performance.
• Lead internal (ISO system, process/product) audits, domestic and overseas customer audits and third-party external audits, and follow up findings until closed.
• Track and promote project quality assurance and improvement, and raise project quality issues.
• Plan gas analysis and requisitions and organise quality-related training and other assigned tasks.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering.
• 3 years' experience or more in a quality system or control role is preferred.
• Experience with quality plans, quality process control and quality assurance.
• Cross-functional teamwork attitude and good computer skills.
• Good spoken and written English.
