Purchasing Buyer

About the role

Sandisk is looking for a Purchasing Buyer to support the end‑to‑end procurement process. The role involves handling sourcing, purchase order creation, vendor communication, and delivery management while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Create and process purchase orders based on approved requisitions, ensuring accuracy of quantity, price, and delivery terms.
• Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, delivery schedules, and product availability.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships, driving cost, service level, innovation, and contractual compliance.
• Lead quarterly and annual business reviews with key suppliers to assess performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Handle supplier escalations, dispute resolution, and corrective action plans.
• Support contract governance, ensuring contracts reflect negotiated terms and partnering with Legal to improve sourcing and contract lifecycle processes.

Required profile

• Strong strategic sourcing and negotiation capabilities.
• Experience managing supplier performance and conducting business reviews.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with Legal, Finance, and Operations.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with procurement or ERP systems.
