Project Purchasing Manager – DCCC

About the role

Bosch Group is looking for a Project Purchasing Manager to lead procurement activities for the DCCC project in Changzhou. You will act as the main purchasing contact, drive supplier strategy, and ensure project targets for cost, quality, and delivery are met.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary purchasing contact for Wuj‑ICO & ICS, managing the end‑to‑end purchasing process.
• Coach and empower the Wuj‑P staff, fostering ownership of project‑related procurement tasks.
• Set, monitor, and review departmental goals and objectives.
• Lead a purchasing project team to achieve defined objectives and QCD (quality, cost, delivery) targets.
• Maintain liaison with the central purchasing group and coordinate with lead plant and DC/RB central purchasing for synergies.
• Conduct market analysis of competitors and suppliers, identifying localization opportunities.
• Develop and implement supplier strategies, working closely with PUQ on quality management and early‑stage project involvement.
• Drive higher localization rates and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Recruit, train, and build a cohesive purchasing team, handling conflict resolution and risk management.
• Promote continuous improvement and innovation within the procurement function.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of project management, procurement processes, market and supplier dynamics, cost estimation, risk and contract management.
• Proven leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
• Analytical mindset with solid decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
