Program & Business Controlling Manager

About the role

Fresenius Medical Care is looking for a Program & Business Controlling Manager in Shanghai. The role provides regional-level project management and business controlling support to the Vice President General Manager APAC, acting as an integration and coordination function between the VP GMs, country organizations and global functions. It supports organic growth, operational efficiency, performance transparency and execution discipline, in line with Care Delivery International (CDI) objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate activities across about 10 countries and support VP GMs in structuring, running and following up regional initiatives, including management meetings, presentations, reports and document management.
• Manage regional projects end to end and help deliver business-critical initiatives on time, within budget and with expected results.
• Review regional operations with Finance Controllers, propose efficiency improvements and prepare analyses for negotiations with health insurance companies.
• Align country activities with regional strategic objectives and support quality, legal and compliance oversight.
• Drive process improvement, knowledge sharing and capability building across the region.
• Ensure all work complies with Fresenius Medical Care policies, quality standards and confidentiality requirements.

Required profile

• 5-8 years of experience in project management, business controlling, business operations or strategy/consulting, preferably in an international or matrix organization.
• Fluent English and the local country language; additional languages are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel within the region as required.
• Basic understanding of the healthcare services industry is a plus; dialysis experience is an asset but not required.
