Product Quality Manager

About the role

Alfa Laval is seeking a Product Quality Manager to lead QHSE initiatives across its marine and industrial product lines. You will drive continuous improvement, ensure compliance with legislation, and guarantee that customer requirements are fully met.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and coordinate QHSE projects, keeping risk assessments and environmental analyses up‑to‑date.
• Develop and maintain Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental management systems, focusing on audits, KPIs, training, SOPs and improvement activities.
• Oversee quality control in supplier workshops, factories and sites, managing QC engineers to meet contractual and industry standards.
• Support line management in QHSE accountability and foster a strong QHSE culture.
• Lead the quality team in handling NCRs, warranty claims and data‑driven improvement projects.
• Promote continuous improvement to prevent injuries, occupational diseases and environmental impacts.
• Train, coach and motivate staff to maintain and develop competence according to development plans.
• Coordinate cross‑functional activities and perform other managerial tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in marine or related engineering industries.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical or Automation Engineering.
• Extensive knowledge of marine industry standards and ALPS or equivalent quality control frameworks.
