Procurement Director – NBA China

About the role

The Procurement Director will lead NBA China’s Procurement Department, ensuring the acquisition of goods and services of the highest quality and value. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the role works closely with cross‑functional teams and the US office to drive savings and maintain strong supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Improve and enforce procurement processes and policies across NBA China.
• Manage all procurement activities and bidding for $50‑75M of local spend, supporting year‑over‑year growth.
• Collaborate with business units to achieve cost savings and quality improvements through competitive bidding.
• Evaluate, select, and monitor supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with all procurement policies and procedures.
• Maintain close communication with US and regional offices to share best practices and implement global policies.
• Partner with AP and FP&A teams to automate and control the Procure‑to‑Pay cycle.
• Directly manage a small team of 1‑2 procurement professionals.

Required profile

• 10+ years of procurement and finance experience in a multinational environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Project management and negotiation expertise.
• Quick learner, detail‑oriented team player.
• Experience in content production, marketing, events execution, or gaming is a plus.

Required skills

• SAP (experience preferred).
• Familiarity with the Corcentric procurement system (a plus).
