Primary Art Teacher – Immediate Start

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Primary Art Teacher to join Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science immediately. You will inspire young learners to explore visual arts, develop confidence, and express their ideas through a variety of media.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate Primary Art lessons.
• Develop students' skills across a broad range of materials, techniques and creative processes.
• Encourage experimentation, creative risk‑taking and personal idea development.
• Organise and contribute to student exhibitions, displays and creative projects.
• Lead or support Art clubs, workshops and co‑curricular activities.
• Participate in the school’s wider creative, pastoral and community initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Fine Art, Art & Design, Visual Arts, Art Education or a closely related field.
• Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., UK QTS/PGCE or equivalent US, Canadian or Australian credential).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably at Primary level.
• Experience teaching Art/Visual Arts within an international, bilingual or British curriculum.
• Ability to meet Chinese work‑permit requirements and start immediately.
