About the role
ABB Drive Products, which supplies drives and programmable logic controllers (PLC) to industry and infrastructure, is hiring an Operations/Supply Planner in Beijing. The position reports to the Production Supervisor and focuses on preparing and adjusting production plans to meet customer demand and on-time delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and adjust production plans according to customer demand to ensure on-time delivery
- Develop material demand plans based on the production plan and sales forecast so materials are available on time
- Track production execution and follow up on material shortages to keep the plan on schedule
- Coordinate between production lines to optimise capacity utilisation
- Maintain production orders in SAP and monitor inventory levels to improve inventory turnover
- Prevent, control and dispose of aging stock and scrap
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Good communication skills and teamwork spirit
- More than one year of related work experience
Required skills
- Familiarity with the SAP system
- Proficiency in MS Office
