About the role
The Offshore Contract Manager will lead the end‑to‑end contract lifecycle for offshore projects, ensuring proposals, negotiations, performance tracking and compliance align with Bureau Veritas standards.
Key responsibilities
- Align RFQ requirements, coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors, and prepare profitability analysis for internal review.
- Draft proposals and contracts covering scope, pricing, schedules, quality standards and liability clauses.
- Lead contract negotiations, identify legal, performance and cost risks, and obtain approvals from legal and senior management.
- Monitor contract performance, communicate with execution teams, manage change requests and resolve deviations.
- Maintain contract archives, numbering and filing of all related documents.
- Prepare bidding documents, build client relationships and ensure compliance with HSE and company policies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture or related field.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in offshore contract or commercial management.
- Familiarity with various offshore units and class society business (preferred).
- Strong English communication skills.
- Based in Shanghai.
